Serving the people who serve others.
Diners are in their most giving mood during the holidays. And restaurant workers? They’re busy. This season, join BentoBox in giving back to the people who create hospitality for us every day.
How can you celebrate National Restaurant Workers Day?
Set up an NRWD fee
Set up a custom fee so that every customer order contributes to a special fund you can split among your workers. Click here to see how to do this on BentoBox.
Pass along resources
Make sure employees use the resources available to them for things like financial planning, health care and child care. The IRC is a good place to start. Learn more.
Support worker nonprofits
BentoBox is partnering with Southern Smoke, one of the many great organizations benefiting restaurant workers. Click here to contribute for your restaurant.
Be a great diner
Be mindful with service staff today and every day. Arrive on time and don’t camp out. Be patient. Say thank you. Tip well.
Leave a review
Writing positive (and specific!) reviews online helps other diners find great restaurants on search engines like Google and Yelp.
National Restaurant Workers Day @ BentoBox
Without restaurant workers, companies like BentoBox would not exist. To show our appreciation, we’ve teamed up with Clover and Lunchbox, two of our fellow restaurant technology companies, to bring a $15,000 donation to Southern Smoke’s emergency grant relief program. Here are some of our other initiatives today:
Fourteen customer restaurants in 8 cities are pairing up to cook one another family meals, sponsored and delivered by BentoBox.
Coffees & tips
BentoBox employees are bringing coffee to 30 restaurant kitchens across the country and tipping 100% on all their coffee orders today.
Virtual town hall
This week, BentoBox and Studio ATAO present a virtual town hall with restaurant industry influencers Eli & Max Sussman (@TheSussmans) and Allez Celine (@AllezCeline). Stop in and chat!
